Biographie

Malgache de naissance, elle a la double nationalité, Franco-malgache, Noro Vololona Rajaoson est issue d’une famille de professeurs à l’université d’Antananarivo à Madagascar. De son enfance et de son adolescence à Antananarivo, Noro a gardé les souvenirs des couleurs vives du marché d’Antananarivo. Son goût du voyage lui permet d'arpenter les différents musées en Europe. 

Sa rencontre avec un professeur d’art en 2006, Didier Dessus lui a permis de s’initier à la peinture à l’huile. Noro a suivi des cours d’arts plastiques de techniques spécifiques de peinture à l’huile pendant 6 années. Elle a également suivi deux années d’histoire de l’art.

Noro vit en Bourgogne. Elle a participé à une exposition collective à Londres à la Fitzrovia Gallery en août 2021, le vernissage a eu lieu à la Saatchi Gallery, et une autre à Paris à la galerie Beauté du Matin Calme en octobre 2021.

Les artistes qui ont influencé son art sont Sonia Delaunay, Wassily Kandinski , Paul Klee, Edward Hopper, Georgia O'Keeffe et Frida Kahlo.

A brief bio about the artist/ artwork.

Noro was born in Madagascar. She lives in France, in Burgundy. She likes playing with rich vibrant

colours through her oil painting. Her abstract art has been inspired by her childhood in Madagascar

and her different trips throughout Europe. She also enjoys painting feminine figures to claim her

freedom as a woman artist. Her choice of colours and texture, and depth are stunning. When she

paints, she lets herself go, she remembers the atmosphere of the colourful market in Madagascar.

She enjoys this special moment when she can connect to her inner world. Painting is a way to create

her own vision of the world.

She is happy when the viewer can relate to her colourful paintings. that can fill the heart with joy.

Her favorite artists are Sonia Delaunay, Wassily Kandinski , Paul Klee, Edward Hopper, Georgia O'Keeffe et Frida Kahlo.
